Tile painters use tiles as their canvas to make beautiful murals which are perfect for backsplashes, wall installations, accent tiles, tabletops, fireplace, bathroom walls and kitchen walls.
Ceramic tile murals are not only used to decorate homes but also used in public places like restaurants, airports, parkings and even schools.
There are marble mosaic tiles which are made from natural marbles.

How are they made?

Tiles are hand painted, glazed and fired for beauty and durability. Tiles are usually fired at 1800-1850 degrees Fahrenheit so that colors are permanently sealed in. This way, they don`t fade away or wash away.
There are four layers of sealant on the tile murals. Two of the coatings make the tile very very hard. The final coat is of your choice. It`s for you to choose whether you want Matte, Satin or Glossy finish. Matte gives the looks of a painting, the most. Satin is semi-gloss.
All ceramic and marble tiles are created using special ink, heat and pressure. All these processes causes the image painted to become a part of the invisible coating on the tile.
