Stripping old wallpaper

To have a neat and perfect wall covering, it's important to first remove old wallpaper.
The first step is to check whether old wallpaper comes off easily or not. If it can be removed easily, then peel it off and clean the wall by wiping with clean water.

If above does not happen, then do as under-

• Mix wallpaper removal solution with hot water in a spray bottle.
• Take a perforation tool and pierce the wallpaper surface.
• Spray the removal solution on the wallpaper and let it soak in. Wait for the recommended amount of time. Let the solution seep behind the wallpaper and loosen the adhesive.
• Once it is loosened, take a wallpaper knife and peel away the wallpaper.To remove the odd patches of wallpaper that still remain, soak again with the solution.
• Remove any remaining adhesive with the solution.
• Wipe the entire wall with clean water.
• Allow the surface of the wall to dry completely.
• Now finally, you are ready to hang new wall covering.
